Apptio creates enterprise apps that are designed to enable the assessment of IT service costs and communicate those costs to corporate leaders for planning, budgeting and forecasting purposes. The tools are designed to help CIOs run the technology departments as a business, tracking hardware, storage, cloud usage, applications, energy usage, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and reporting obligations.

My Role

During my tenure as a product designer I was lead serveral different projects at Apptio. I created an onboarding experience for a new product called Avalanche. I was also involved in creating an initial login experience for Apptio customers who had just logged on for the first time.

Avalanche

Avalanche was a new product to help IT executives better understand IT spend and its relationship with employees. It allowed IT leaders to analyze support data to better understand efficiencies and inefficiencies in their support staff. My role was to create a data on-boarding flow to digest support data and make it accessible to IT executives.

Dashboard Update

The project entailed visual refresh and layout update of the existing dashboard screens.
